2005 CHRISTMAS DANCE
We wish to Thank all of the volunteers and guests at our annual Christmas dance this past December.
Our dance was once again a huge success.
In December there was a family burned out of their home in the Gainesboro district, at the dance we asked for
your help, and we graciously recieved it. In 15 minutes we collected $1535.00 for the family, not to mention all the toys
that were donated that night for the toy drive.
Gainesboro Chief Don Jackson and The Rocky Top Riding Club extend a big thanks to those involved. Horse
people are the best, we are so glad to be part of such a great club.
It's auction time at the dance ! Looks like Mark, Harold, Susan D, Bob and Romy have everything under control!! Thanks guy's!

WITH THE RAINY WEATHER! WITH EVERYONES HARD WORK AND DONATIONS $10,631.00 HAS BEEN RAISED

ROCKY TOP SPRING TRAIL RIDE 2006 went well! Friday evening we had some rain but Saturday morning all was
clear and the weekend was beautiful!! The ride went on with over 110 horses and riders, we are pleased to say that there were
no accidents this year! After the ride everyone was hungry and enjoyed the nice hot homemade chicken dinner with dressing,
green beans, macaroni & cheese and cole slaw. After dinner we relaxed a bit,started the bonfire and waited for
the band to start! We held the auction and the 50/50 raffle during the bands break. Sunday morning the Rocky Top members made
a nice hot breakfast before the 10AM ride went out and wow we had another nice ride! Thanks to all who made this event possible!
