ROCKY TOP TRAIL RIDE RULES

PLEASE READ

1. A current negative coggins test will be required. Please have then ready for inspection at registration.

2. NO CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL PRIOR TO OR WHILE RIDING ON TRAILS , this includes pit stops and people riding on chuck wagon. No under age drinking will be tolerated! Use of illegal drugs will not be permitted. ANY infraction of this rule will result in being barred from Rocky Top Ride and possible prosecution by the law!!

3.Trail riders may tag campsites the weekend before ride. Once tagged, ribbons may not be removed. Please be considerate of others when tagging space, tag only space needed.

4. No pets allowed to run loose over premises.

5. Anyone caught stealing will be barred from Rocky Top Ride and face possible prosecution by law.

6. DO NOT LITTER!!!!!!!!! Trash barrels will be provided on designated chuck wagons as well as thoughout trail site.

7.Do not pass or fall behind drag riders.

8. No riding of horses after 8PM.

9.Please stay on designated trails and do NOT wander into the landowners fields or yards.

10. ROCKY TOP TRAIL RIDE STAFF RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANYONE TO LEAVE THE PREMISES.

11. Please be courteous to your fellow riders. Horseplay and running up behind other riders will not be tolerated. THIS IS FOR ALL OF OUR SAFETY.

12. In the event of dry conditions, SMOKING on the ride will be permitted during pit stops only!. You will see this posted on the day of the ride if this rule applies.

13.NO STALLIONS will be allowed on the camp or on the rides.
14.CHILDREN UNDER AGE 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON PREMISES.

REMEMBER TO TIE A RED RIBBON ON YOUR HORSE'S TAIL BEFORE LEAVING CAMP IF THEY ARE A KICKER!! RED RIBBON IS AVAILIBLE AT THE INFORMATION TENT.

NOTE:

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE RULES ARE ENFORCED FOR ALL OF OUR SAFETY. UNLIKE THE GOOD OLD DAY'S WE MUST TAKE MORE PRECAUTIONS IN OUR PLANNING AND ABIDE BY THE MANY STATE/COUNTY EQUINE LAWS SET IN PLACE.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS:

Wearing a helmet while riding could avoid serious head trauma and possibly death in the event of a fall. We would like to strongly recommend, in the interest of safety, that children 16& under wear a properly fitted and secured ASTM/SET helmet. This decision is the responsibility of the childs parent or guardian. The decision to wear a safety helmet is up to the individual.. but we give a THUMBS UP to those who choose to do so!!!! You know the saying..... Better to be safe than sorry!
