ROCKY TOP FALL TRAIL RIDE 2006

RIDE INFO:CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER!!!!

The Rocky Top Trail Ride( SAT) is about 4 hours long. We also have a Sunday ride which is about 2 hours long. There will be NO PAVED ROADS. The terrain is a combination of clear mountain trails(mostly wooded) with very little rock. We may have some creek crossings and some hills. Overall this is a relaxing and beautiful ride.There is no running of the horses. If you have a faster paced horses or mule you may want to ride closer to the front. Most of our horses are front shod but shoes are not required. THERE IS NO CONSUMING OF ALCOHOL WHILE ON THE RIDE DUE TO INSURANCE LIABILITY & WISHES OF THE LAND OWNERS!!

**Reminder folks: Don't forget to buy your 50/50 tickets ,ROCKY TOP t-shirts/Sweatshirts(it will be cool at night) at the information tent!!! See you there!!!!!!!!!!!

We will have breakfast by donation SUNDAY morning before the ride. It will be ready between 8:30-9:00.

Fall Ride. Fees are as follows:

ALL WEEKEND FEE - Includes : Friday/Sat camping fee, fees for both Sat ride and Sunday morning ride. ADULTS-$10.00/ CHILDREN 7-12 $5.00/ -6 UNDER FREE

In the Fall we have a covered dish dinner following the trail ride. Rocky Top will provide the hamburgers & hotdogs, condiments, utensils and drinks for the covered dish dinner. Bring your favorite dish to share! After dinner join us at the campfire for a casual evening of horseshoes and music. A laid back atmosphere where you can relax,catch up with old friends and meet some new ones!!!
Sunday morning ride will leave camp at 11AM.
Join us for a great hot breakfast at 8:30 Sunday morning before the ride. By donation only.

ADDITIONAL RIDE/CAMPING INFORMATION:

Rocky Top will have a designated check-in station/tent set up as you pull into trail ride site. Here staff will :

Check current coggins information
Have you sign the Liability & Release Waiver , collect fee, assign armbands : blue for 21+ and yellow for 20 and under
There will be an area for trailer turn around if you did not bring a current coggins.

Campsites are primitive (no water,electric) and located in field. We do allow campsites to be marked the weekend before. Otherwise they are first come first serve starting on Friday Sept 29.
