WELCOME
This is the Official site for
The Rocky Top Riding Club, Home of the Rocky Top Trail Ride
and much more!
JUNE 2011 TRAIL RIDE HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
Due to the tremendous amount of inclement weather
we have had many of our trails are impassible. Constant storms have made it near to impossible to maintain. With our busy
schedules, families, kids and 4-H we do not have the time to make the trails safe for our fellow trail rider's and their equine
companions.
We are very sorry
for having to make this decision. We want everyone to know that this decision was made with everyone's safety in mind.
Stay tuned for info on future Rocky Top events.
Located in Beautiful Cross Junction, Virginia
Where the trail begins, but never
ends...
We are a non-profit community based Riding Club that
supports 4-H, Fire/Rescue & our Community. Most of us are lifelong volunteers. We all share a love of horses, kids
& our community. We hope this website helps to keep you more informed of upcoming events, past events, changes in
polices and much more! If your interested in volunteering to help clear trails, clean up after trail rides, or volunteer
in the community or 4-H, please contact us. We are always open to any suggestions you may have to help us
improve our ride, but mostly we want everyone to have a fun safe ride! HAPPY TRAILS!!!

Rocky Top Riding Club not only supports the
community in Frederick Co, but we also recieve suppport as well. Some of you may not reallize but Gainesboro
Fire & Rescue is at every Rocky Top event with EMS personnel for your saftey.
They let us use their kitchen when ever needed. In previous years they let us use the firehouse for our Christmas dances.
They also let us use the the firehouse and property for our annual Haunted House & hay ride. In return we make donations
to the firehouse from the monies make at our events, and we help them out with their many funtions throughout the year.
So when you see these hard working men and woman at our events, give them a thumbs up for all they do!
